STAGES OF DEVELOPMENT OF JEAN PIAGET


Preoperational stage
The preoperative stage is the second of four stages. Follow the sensory motor stage and takes place approximately between 2 and 7 years old.
In the transition from this period, the child discovers that some things can take the place of others. Children's thinking is no longer subject to external actions, begin to internalize.
Internal representations provide more mobility vehicle for increasing intelligence

Language
