Is the physical, sexual or emotional mistreatment of children. 

TYPES

NEGLECT

Is where the responsible adults.
 

PHYSICAL ABUSE

Is physical agression directed at a children by an adult

 

CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE

Is a form of child abuse in wich an adult or older adolecent abuses a child for sexual stimulation. 

 PSYCOLOGICAL ABUSE

It could include name-calling, ridicule, degradation, destruction of personal belongings.

CAUSES

Substance abuse

     Unemployment and financial difficulties.

EFFECTS

—  Psychiatric problems.                          

—  Depression

—  Dissociative                                 

              Stress

 

PREVENTION

—  Resourses for child protection services are sometimes limited.

Police protection fo the children.

TREATMENT

—  Cognitive behavioral  therapy

—  Go to clinical depression.

We have to be careful with the children because they are the future  of our society.
